I saw this 1733 8 reales on ebay. Sorry for the photos; they're the ones from the auction.

I don't suspect it's real, but thought I ask what folks think about it.

If you heat up a coin until it melts than it might look like a cast, but I do not think, that this is here the case.

I didn't bid on it, but was curious.

I did email the seller, who said he knows nothing about coins. He said he found it in a park five years ago while playing basketball.

It sold for $12.00.
