Hello all, my name is Don, and I have enjoyed reading and learning in this forum, so I thought I would join. About 5 months ago, my father-in-law passed away. He wasn't a coin collector, but he had jars full of wheat cents, silver coins, and a bit of this and that (including 75 1964 Kennedy halves!). Since my father had collected coins, I wanted to go through the coins for my mother-in-law, so she would know what she had if she wanted to sell them. We decided that I would make a "collection" of his small hoard and proceeded to sort through, select, and 2x2 the best of each date/MM/denomination. Well I got bit hard, and have since started my own collection. I look forward to getting help/advice from all of the knowledgeable folks here!

to CCF and my condolences. Check the 1964 halves for the accented hair variety. Are you going to look for errors/varieties?
