hi torgemco. sorry I didn't send you a grade for 1936 over email(same coin?)...it is a long story, any way I would call this one a nice AU, the reverse is nice and lustery but the obverse throws me off a little so I wont comment on cleaning although I am pretty sure it was.
as for the coin you emailed me I would say VF-30 cleaned minimum with a fair go at EF-40 cleaned.
I am not sure if the coin posted here is the same as in the email but I assume they aren't the same as the natives feather appears longer on the example you posted.

VF30 Cleaning won't help. You should start a new thread for each coin else those who've given an opinion on your first coin are likely to pass this one by.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning... -from PCGS website
