Would be interesting to know ... How far away the shot was taken. Maybe someone does not like Washington

I would shoot one of each coin made for this series and sell the entire set on ebay...I have a feeling it would do well.
Feel free to call me Will.

Judging from the exit wound I say the person hates Washington since they were aiming for him. West Virginia was just a innocent bystander. Personally I would had shot a cent or a half dollar, though that might not be nice now that I think about it.

A cowboy trick shooter did it for my little brother. Not Sure how far or the circumstances of the shot But I thought I'd share... Kinda funny how I started a thread in classics about old bullet hole morgans a few weeks ago and now I have a shot coin in my hand. I seriously think I may be slightly psycic

Quote: Personally I would had shot a cent or a half dollar, A 22LR will NOT go through a 2014 half dollar. I lost 2 of them somewhere into the backstop and after that lesson for the 3rd one it just about went completely through a 5/8" sheet of plywood as all of the force of the bullet just pushed the coin into the wood. I should have taken a picture of it before I gave it away.

The back looks neat! To small to be a .40 caliber or higher. To big for a .22 My guess is either a .38 or 9mm

But I would find it more believable if the impact happened on the other side. In reality, I am certain the choice was as random as a coin toss.
