Found this in my pocket change today. Looks like a die crack bottom left of banner and die chip top right of shield. Thought it was cool so had to share. I also found a Roosevelt dime die clash in the same change from the store today... I'll post that one in a minute.

Looks like they did an ok job of polishing out the crack in the fields. I am pretty sure someone posted an earlier die state with the same die chp. Cool find!

Good find! I remember someone posting somehting about a coin with an earlier die state with the same chip/

I don't remember anything of the kind!

I like cracks; add character. Not worth anything to most folks, but interesting to look at especially where a crack begins to look like a feature.

The top of the shield is the most common areas to find chips. The die crack is also a common event to find. (Die cracks can't be polished out. They are made by a crack in the die itself leaving a void in the die. It would be impossible to polish this out)
