Purchased from ebay, paid $7.50 plus $3 shipping. Curious about grade. The greenish chunk on Lincoln's head came right off with a puff, didn't notice it until processing pics.   |

When you say "puff" do you mean a cotton ball? I would highly recommend not using a cotton ball to remove any material from the surface of a coin. What happens is the fibers cause hairline scratches to the surface of the coin.
My guess on the grade is AU-55

AU53. the black crud In some of the devices specifically the date and not being in other areas leads me to believe it was cleaned along the way
