Hi all. I told a friend of mine about my numismatic interest, and he told me his dad has a few ancients he knew nothing about.
I said I would give it a try, but boy, this is unchartered waters for me.
I search around here abit and got to http://wildwinds.com/ What a huge site, and I think I have some of it down, but som RICs are so similar so I need your guy's help to confirm or correct me.
They are all Gordian III coins, we've gotten that far
Any and all comments on their rarity, real/fake and other attributes are surly welcome.
So here goes
#1: RIC 154?
#2: RIC 65?
#3: RIC 212?
#4: RIC 34?
#5: RIC 92?
#6: RIC 3?
thanks all and sorry for the multitude of pictures...
Excellent coins. Another site you can use is acsearch.com, the search engine is very good, you can enter "gordian pax". The guys and gals here will also help you attribute if you get stuck.
