Fifth edition Overton book is available right now, about $80 or so for it.

Very nice!

Mine was a tight fit in the 7070 as well, so not unusual.

Yes, it even solved some problems with the 3rd edition. Its basically a 3rd edition with corrections, IMO. I have a 3rd edition, but I really dont use it anymore.

I use the Overton 5th edition in tandem with Dr Peterson's fourth edition to attribute bust halves.

Is there a good or any online guide for these coin specific varieties without buying a old out of print hardcover book?

Here's some......
http://coinzip.com/bustieguide/
http://coinzip.proboards.com/ (Forum with a list/descriptions of the die marriages. Also with member provided pictures)
http://www.maibockaddict.com/

Even with knowing these, I refer back to the book.

Thanks AcesKings that's great. Not that I don't want to read or purchase Overton's book, but I've read it's "difficult" to use. And I've read the Peterson book is much easier to use but not as thorough. And sorry I hijacked SSK's thread.

The Overton book is a lot easier to use than the VAM book for Morgans, IMO.
I really adapted quickly to it. What it does lack is specific pictures to illustrate the defining characteristics of each DM. Dr. Peterson's book makes up for that deficiency. The two complement each other very well.
