(It took us almost six months to get NGC to admit there were fake NGC slabs out there. Then they announced it as some great new discovery. That would be the second link above.) While there are probably still some of those fake slabs out there, they have gotten better at it and they aren't as easy to detect. Report this Post to the Staff

Counterfeiting Coins has been going on almost as long as currency and maybe longer. Now with those slabs being made and possibly the coins inside being fakes, going to get worse and worse. The counterfeiters are getting better and their equipment too is progressing. I just hope they don't ruin this hobby altogether. Report this Post to the Staff
