Another small part of the US collection I am reintroducing into the U.S market. I love the looks of this one, I just wish it didn't tone up so dark. Anyways, I would really love to get a rough grade on it, and really appreciate all opinions!! Thanks!

I can see it as a 40 but the obverse leans 35. VF35 is the conservative grade.

To be honest, I prefer them in this state. VF35 with a very interesting "something" on the A in "HALF", die chip?

Actually you're completely right paralyse! That extra line is so significant I actually looked right past it! Now I'm curious as to what it really.is?
Does anyone know if these pieces were ingraved with chisels? Maybe the engraver slipped when adding the A's crossbar?
