I had to stare at this one for a while to convince myself it wasn't a slider. Managed it, though. I'm on board with MS64, and VAM-2 - the Far Date and heavily-tilted MM are definitive. That's a pretty hefty left tilt in the Morgan series.

Thanks to all for the input.
Dave, You have hit the nail on the head as to why I am asking. I think it technically merits 64ish I was and am worried that it is not true ms more "au64" Off to pcgs tomorrow. I will update when I know. Thanks

I'd guess 63/64 depending on the black spots on obverse rims and white spots too

The bit of flatness above Liberty's ear, as well as the tiny dings on the eagle's breast and to the right of "OF" extending into the wingtip, probably taken together limit it to MS64.
Colligo ergo sum

It's not an incredibly attractive coin with the gray fields, but I'm feeling a 64 on this.

Those look that way because the fields are so near Prooflike that traditional luster has to be reconsidered. They're an artifact of his imaging process. Peaece13, I agonized over the talons for a while, and ended up deciding based on the cheek. The lighting you employed makes me think I should easily see the frost rubbed off in that image. So I took a breath, said "yeah, it's Mint State. I'm gonna believe that." And graded it. If one side is Uncirculated, both are. Anything else isn't possible.

Is it toned? Look at the color under the cartwheel lines... by the way, sweet "laser-eye luster" pic.

Well a bit of an update from PCGS they say MS-61 I am really surprised at this, as I have quite a few MS63 Morgans that don't come close to this.
I have never cracked and resubmitted before, and really doubt I ever would, but this one temps me. I guess I could go CAC and see their feeling but doubt its worth it. Thoughts?
also any Moderator that could / would mark the title of this to PCGS Grade posted, would be awesome.

If it were my coin I would resub it. You can't downgrade so it would only help. Then cac her even if it comes back 64. It deserves all the cache it can muster
