Something seems odd about this coin.

IMO it does not seem obviously cast, although the surfaces look a bit 'off'. Still it does not look right to me.
More specifically, comparing the shape of the CC mintmark in HA archives, the C's seem too skinny around the middle. Also, on genuine example the tips of C's almost touch each other. On this one, there is noticeable spacing.

What do you guys think?

Yeah, I see what you are saying. Did a bit of Heritage comparing too, and unfortunately I think it's a cast copy. The mint mark is way off, and the devices look a bit rough.

Like mentioned above it might be a cast. On the obverse at approximately 1oclock I think I see some die cast bubbling and porous surface. I'm thinking fake. Looks harshly cleaned too,to maybe give it that used coin appearance

Mintmark is way off and I think the date is off as well. Don't know if it is a cast fake but it is clearly a fake so who really cares how it was made.

That nose looks weird too. The whole coin also appears to have a grainy surface.

Here's your obverse die (note the base of the first 1 and the loops of the 8):

And here's your reverse die (note the mintmark):

1871-CC-Half-Dollar?

Although I can't find this exact coin form the no-no place (as the mods and admins unaffectionately call it), I am convinced it is produced at the same factory.

The grainy devices and the parallel striations in the obverse field also give it away.

This counterfeit is struck, not cast. The dies were made with a mold produced from a genuine VF Seated half dollar, though not of this date as the date and mintmark are obviously re-engraved. Not all chinese counterfeits are produced this way, but many of those available on the no-no place are.

However, the artificial coloring job is marvelous. They did a very above-average job making it look worn and cleaned; much better than most I have seen.

Thank you TypeCoin971793, that seems to be the one.
Awful looking counterfeits!

The CC mintmark's style is wrong; also, looks like it was added as an afterthought.
