This was a coin I choose the last minute to send in for
my first submission to NGC. One that I felt could go the
other way .. and make a coin not worthy of grading.
It needed to be a problem free AU50 coin, to make it worth
the price of slabbing.

Here are the raw pictures

It's new NGC home.

Thanks all ....

I am liking this coin more, every time I look at it.

I did like it filling a hole in my Dansco, but as long as I
have it, it will stay in the slab.

I think I had the 94-S pegged at AU 55 in the other thread.

Heck I feel pretty good coming as close as I did on these things and just judging them from pictures.

I call it "normal variation".

Nice coin!

Westernsky

I did notice you were very close to the grades on these.
So close, I thought ... oh I know how he did it.
But when you were just a little off. I figured you were
really hitting close on the grades.

When I posted the label on the 1788 Vermont, I thought
someone could use that information to look up all the others.

For those that don't know, the number on the label comes
off the submission form.
The first coin on the submission form will get the submission form number then "-001"

I use this information to look up what other coins were sent
in with a coin that I might be buying.

So in this case when I posted the Vermont, you can see the
label has number 2660288-001

that would make the other coins
2660288-002 1865 Indian head
2660288-003 1914 D Buffalo
2660288-004 1896 O Morgan
2660288-005 1894 S Morgan

For me .. I used these numbers to look up the grades before
they were posted under my submission tracking. It let me see
the grades a little sooner.

Sorry .. to go on and on ...

good job WesternSky

Another win. I was low on the grade of this one as well, but I tend to be a bit over critical when grading Morgans.

Thank you all again for your comments.

As for the pictures .. I understand what your saying.
I do have a lot of problem with lighting and getting
a true picture of how a coin really looks.

Sometimes I get lucky.

Sometimes .. not so good
