I see coins in slabs and some of them have various hoard/collection on the label. Now, if I wanted P******** Collection, Or P******** Hoard on the coins I send In how would that happen? Would my family have to discover a huge safe of UNC Morgan dollars and send them in? But then again, graders know nothing about the submitter. This is all very confusing.

Contact the TPG and ask them, usually not an issue just more $$$ in fees. You can have "From the Collection of SilverStacker" on them if you want.

I read somewhere that you pay some extra $$ to them and they will be able to put whatever you want on the coin. I see at my local coin shows a lot there are the two vendors specifically who have their names on the slabs. I know because I inquired about them.

It takes the TPG's about five minutes on a computer to set up and print a custom label. I am sure , for an "over the top" fee, you can get a custom label.

Just keep in mind however, what a custom label does to resale value of your slab. People will pay a premium for a slab from the Pogue collection, they will pay market value, over raw, for a standard blue PCGS slabbed coin. Think, would you pay more or less to have a beautiful MS 64 Morgan dollar in your collection, but have to look at a PCGS "From Ralph's Collection " label every time you pulled your coin out ?

If it's from a major super-recognizable collection (i.e., really exceptional provenance), then yes. Go for it. If not, then you might want to save the cash. It might "look good" to you, but resale will be harder (people would more be inclined to reslab it, thus be willing to buy it from you, but minus the time, hassle, and cost of having it reslabbed.

Just my opinion...

You could somehow get a complete date mintmark set of every US coin, even more advanced than Eliasberg, find a legit $50 pan pac round in MS-64+ and get your name on it, ah yes I can see it now

BTW, this took me 3 minutes to do

Heh. If you're buying six-figure coins like that, you definitely have the chops to get your name on the slab.
