I think they are all reproductions on his site, there are many similar ones out there and they all list it being sold as reproductions. With no way to to authenticate, probably not the safest item to bid on, if looking for the real thing.

aardspeed: that is definetly a replica and not the real deal...

and I have no idea why it's on this thread talking about the toronto coin expo and the Geoffry bell auction..

split thread woot woot.. mods are awesome! now this can get the attention it deserves...

I think you have to be very careful buying any HBC "artifacts" being the oldest company in North America there are a few "replicas" that have been produced
