MS 63 to MS 64 I see hit in the hair, forehead, front of forehead, way ahead of the forehead and in the back below N and between the wheat stalks and some obverse spotting.

Bad, I agree with Prethen on this one. I could see going 62. As mentioned, there is a lot going on. Jim

If PCGS graded it I would say MS-63rb but if I were the last grader at PCGS I would give it an MS-64rb it only 1 point but it counts!!

everything that I have seen from PCGS for lincolns lately has been over graded .
Im thinking 65 RB on this coin ,,techniquely the coin is an above average strike for the date ,,and has nice eye appeal ,, although I disagree with my own grade I have given for this coin LOL in my collection this coin would be gem 63 RB.

Except the one I sent them. I'm going to agree with Metalman on the "reality" grade of 63RB, and I'll bet based on my own experience that PCGS saw it that way too.

I was going to put my guess in then I found it on ebay, I would have been real low.

MS66? RD? And forever will this nice ms64 RB coin reside in that holder........buy the coin, not the holder. Sadly though, someone will end up buying the holder.

After seeing this coin, I think I have a couple that might have a shot at MS69!

Thad I have always and still do believe that the TPG's have exceeded their scope of worth and attempt (successfully) I might add in some cases to manipulate the population of the grades in certian years across all denominations . Dave's coin is a perfect example "I know what that coin deserved as a grade" ! someone somewhere who is probably a top submitter who has a top pop coin in their registry set would have lost big bucks by adding a coin that actually scored as high or higher grade wise . which is why I refuse to play the TPG game ! The registry set program was and is one of the worst things that ever happened to this hobby second only to the dumbing down of the hobby with the advent of plastic grades . I know collectors who could not grade a PO-1 coin and get it right,, because they rely solely on the plastic to tell them what they have . Its sad ! Metalman
