I'm hopeless at grading gold, especially for series like Islamic with little artwork to show high points and wear. Given that caveat, I'd guess at least good EF.

Nice coin, Silver Gorilla. I have no experience at all with Turkish gold, so I'll have to pass on giving it a grade. Thanks for sharing.

Based on the nearly-complete details in the wreaths and lack of visible wear on the rims I'd call it AU.
Can you provide any background on the coin? When were these made? Did they circulate, and if so, in what countries? Is there any estimate of surviving population?
If this is 36 grams of 22K gold, it's worth over $800 just as bullion. Do these coins carry any numismatic value beyond their gold content?
And by the way, it's a nice-looking coin!

Sap that's about what ill give it some where at EF to VF, the only thing that will bring it to a VF Or XF is its rarity. And all the Ottoman coins that are like this one are rare, I see them from time to time on ebay, and they sell way to cheep I Ge's they don't know that there selling something Rare and pricey. I tend to snatch them when I feel like buying from ebay, but only the ones that are 36 grams and have Prof of authenticity.

Hi Jaobler I will try to provide the most detail information on what I know, For these gold coins there are about 10 to 15 types that are "extremely extremely Rare" #1 because of there mint location, #2 the president or rulers at there time. The only thing I don't know is how many each kind where minted, But I do know one thing they are no longer in circulation like they where from before, No one rely knows how many still exists from each type, even the experts don't know its mind boggling, I can give you an idea on how rare they can be, if its OK to post examples from coin-archives, if it gets removed then ill retype the info on from them. Ill try to get my book that I gave to a friend that never returned it to me, it has very detailed info on them like what to look for and other useful information that helps out. example #1 http://www.coinarchives.com/w/lotvi...239&Lot=5401example #2 http://www.coinarchives.com/w/lotvi...239&Lot=5406example #3 http://www.coinarchives.com/w/lotvi...239&Lot=5397example #4 http://www.coinarchives.com/w/lotvi...239&Lot=5410Example #5 Same one as the one I posted sold in 2003 for $750, but there's a big big difference NOW. http://www.coinarchives.com/w/lotvi...D=58&Lot=500 I hope this helps out, Have fun
