I'll be there for the latter days at least - lots of meetings though, hope I get bourse floor time!

Unfortunately, I won't be. But I just mailed back my voting ballot. Maybe next year.

I'll be there. Not used to getting shows of any kind in our neck of the woods, so it's nice to see the RCNA coming to town.

I have family in the area. I thought I might visit them for a few days in July.

I have never been to an RCNA, even when it is hosted in my city. It conflicts with my fieldwork...

I don't live too far from Halifax but I am not a member of RCNA. Something I will have to think about

I'm driving from Toronto to Halifax for the show so we're turning it into a 10 day road trip. It should be fun, I'll have my fishing pole with me and visiting some of my girlfirends family along the way. If anyone has any recommendations for good seafood restaurants or "must see" destinations along the way please let me know.

There are many interesting things along the way. If you are driving through Montreal I highly recommend a stop at Schwartz's deli on St Laurent. Order your smoked meat medium with a kosher dill and cherry soda.
In new Brunswick you can take a detour to the Hopewell rocks. In New Brunswick and in Nova Scotia you can get something called a Donair. It is spiced meat with onions tomatoes and chilli sauce. If you are near St John New Brunswick a stop at the City Market is a really fun thing to do. Try the Dulse. Dulse is dried seaweed, It is an acquired taste but I love it.
Once you get to Halifax there are many thing to see and do. For short trips from Halifax I highly recommend Mahone Bay, Peggy's Cove, and Lunenburg. In Mahone Bay there is a great little shopping area with nice shops along the road. It also has a great pub that serves very good fish and chips. In Peggy's Cove you can try a lobster dinner. In Lunenburg there is a great museum on the waterfront and lots or great places to eat.
In Halifax, I recommend dinner at The Five Fishermen. Excellent food. There are also plenty of great pubs. Really something for everyone in terms of food. Also, be sure to check out the festivals and other cultural events that are going on during the convention.
I hope this helps.
