Not sure what would cause this. Is this partial reeding or something ? It is more prominent on obverse side but has same marking on reverse as well just not all the way around

yeah I noticed that too coop with a brand new coin you can feel the reed on your fingers and a well circulated coin it disappears all together.

Put them through slot machines for a time and the reeding can disappear.
