It's sad that there are people out there with no clue what an error is, and sell common damaged coins for ridiculous prices... but it's pretty funny too. What would actually be sad is if someone bought it.

Even if an error like this did exist would someone carelessly buy a coin like that for a price like that? Well the answer is YES... because there are people out there who have a LOT of money and for them it would be like dropping a penny in a McDonalds. What's sad to me is that they have so many other good coins for sale and you'd think they would know there error coin is not an error and is worthless.  |

I think I will write a new Coin Book................"Numismatic Nightmares and How to Avoid Them" This is the comic relief side of ebay , when these types of listings appear. Shows a couple of things , but I like posting on here and do not want to get tossed for saying what in my personal opinion really needs to be done about ebay and some of the listings they still allow. |
