Just thought I'd share this, it's my spreadsheet for Lincolns. It has cells for putting in your grades and prices and some brief information about each series to 1934. Hope someone can get some use out of it! To save it, right click on the link and select "Save Target As": http://www.badthad.com/coin/LincolnSummary.xls***Edited by Forum Dad to move to Software Forum***

Thanks for that. I'll probably begin to use it rather than my own spread sheet...my "cents" SS starts with Large Cents. Have you considered adding some information like that at this website? http://koinpro.tripod.com/ErrorVarietyList.htmJim

Bad, thanks for sharing. I intend to set down tonight and study it. From what I see, it is much better than what I am using. Jim

Bad, I think those are great summaries. This gives me more ammo to accomplish this year's goal of completing my 7100.

I too use an Excel spread sheet for coins. However, I realized after a while it was way to complicated so I started cutting down on the info. Now it's just a date, grade and approximate value. I used to have purchse dates, purchase prices, date purchased. I found all of no use to me. I've got no plans on selling any so all that is unnecessary for me. Now even contimplating dropping the approximate value. The main reason is with over 100 Albums and a sheet of paper for each, listings of coins in 2x2's, coins in plastic rolls, coins in jars waiting to be looked at, coins in type sets, Proof sets, Uncir sets, etc. Now over 1 inch thick pile of paper so although a nice record, I'm to old to care anymore I guess. Whoever inherits this mess will have to start their own Excel system.

Glad some of you found it useful. I missed a few mintages so I've updated the sheet with those.

BadThad, thanks for this! I'm going to try and convert it for use on a Palm PDA and also for use on a Windows CE based smartphone/PDA.
I find this to be very useful to take to coin shows/coin shops. Handy way to know what you got and what you don't.
By the way, one trick I use for PDA's, which can also be used on the PC is instead of giving a grade F or VF or whatever, I just color the cell. I use a range of yellows. Darkest yellow is AG and Brightest yellow is MS. Saves one column on those crowded PDA screens
EDIT - I'll post what I come up with

Did you put the comments on year in yourself, or is there some sort of online reference? If you did this, wow....you are very good with lincolns. My guess is you did, but i'd like to finish filling the rest up. So being that I'm not that good yet, where would there be a good reference online to help with year comments? I plan on updating the mintages, which I found and the comments per year.
Thanks for the great spreadsheet, this will be very helpful.
