I found this a few years ago in a wheatie bag, and just picked it up again- it has a nice big lamination on the reverse, and part of the metal is still attached.

I almost wrote that it looked like damage but the stalk of the wheat is convincing. Strange, at first look I thought it was letters spelling something. Cool lam!

Thanks. Around the same time I found a 1940 (not sure which mint) with a smaller lam on Lincoln's head, but I don't know where that ended up. As a kid, my grandfather would buy me a bag of Wheaties every year for Christmas, and I still have them somewhere. That's where these came from.
