I have had this coin for a year or so and the gentleman I bought it from originally said it was busted out of a MS60 slab. When I bought another coin from him recently he thought it was AU58 slabbed. When I compare images of this coin to PCGS graded images it looks MS to me. What do you think? 1723-Woods-Hibernia 1723-Woods-Hibernia

That's a palm branch Ed.
This is another example of the Breen-155 I commented on in the grading forum. 155 is characterized by the missing bullet before HIBERNIA coupled with the large 3.
Is it mint state? I'm inclined to say that it may be lightly circulated. It's hard to tell if there is any wear on HIBERNIA or whether it's just weakness from the strike. If it's not MS then it's darn close. The surfaces are hard and glossy which is what you're really looking for. The color is fantastic.

This coin looks a few ticks above MS-60 to me. In my experience, MS-60 coins, more often than not, have less eye appeal than AU-55 to AU 58 coins. This coin is dripping with luster and eye appeal!

spectacular! Nicely done, Sir.

I think this falls into the category so many graders are using now of "cabinet wear".
