Does that mean the reverses design changed?

Looks like they have been holding on to a few stacks of bills carefully selected for a while hoping to take advantage of gullible collectors.

I would expect this from HSN and the like but not from the BEP.

NOW, and I really mean NOW, if you could select the serial number and you were having a child and could pic the serial number you wanted to get 3 birth notes to hand down to them THEN maybe someone might splurg for one.

60$ is waaaaaay out of line. Nearly 10x face value? The BEP is pushing the envelop on this one.

I'd just about bet the BEP is rat holing all kinds of 1 & 2 dollar bills that begin with "2015", "2016", "2017" etc etc etc. to make these sets up in the future.

Some marketing intern at the BEP probably met with his "mentor" and told him this.....

"If this promotion is a sellout with just three notes in the set for 60$, then just think what a 12 note set should sell for....$240". We can make up jillions of these sets and collectors are stupid enough to buy them. Look what's going on over at the mint...they do it everyday with there stuff. It's all in the packaging, presentation and marketing boss!"

I understand the high price being a concern. I thought so too.
Thanks for the input.

But is that reverse the one they are using? Did they change the design?

No, they have not changed the reverse design.

The visuals in the advertisement is kind of misleading though, isn't it?

If the reverse changed to that design, I MIGHT buy it, but even then it would be difficult for me to hand over $60 for that
