I just found another Homestead DDR in the change I received at a convenience store, (2nd DDR found in three days). I haven't seen this variety listed, and it may qualify for a finders attribution if this is the first of its being seen. Let me know if anyone has seen it before today. It's not listed by Wexler, http://doubleddie.com/1467540.html; as far as I can tell. Thank you.

By the way, I am not sure how to find the email link to send Mr. Wexler a message. Thanks for the advice.

That looks familiar. I think someone may have posted that same variety a few days ago. I'm not 100% sure though.

To follow up; I've done as suggested above, and today received Mr. Wexler's formal reply. When http://doubleddie.com/1467540.html is updated on its next update, this coin will be shown as WDDR-047. And you saw it here first. Cheers.

You may also want to check with James Wiles to see if he has listed it for CONECA because if he has it wouldn't be a new find. Also, I will be doing a follow up on the NE doubled dies for the ANA issue of Numismatic News. If you can supply a high resolution image with no arrow (I'll add my own to conform to the arrows I have on other images), I may be able to get this one in.

Thank you for the advice, and for requesting a fresh image. I hope this one will suffice your resolution and aesthetic needs. As this is the highest resolution I am able to upload, I emailed you a copy, (before it was optimized), of this image. I used the AOL address found at http://koinpro.tripod.com/ I am thrilled with the prospect of your offer. Also; aside the doubling I pointed to when first posting this, Mr. Wexler also annotated the slight doubling atop the pump handle which can be seen just below the doubling I had marked. See http://doubleddie.com/1467540.html
