Wow! A real beauty, not sure what that green stuff is (PVC?) but the coin could very well be MS, the luster seems great. Better pictures?

It doesn't appear to me that it has been cleaned actually, looks quite nice except for that large die crack.

Does the Die crack affect grading at ICCS?

From the photo, it is inconclusive whether the mark is a scratch or a Die-Crack. The area atop the letters and leaf are more consistent with a scratch.

From what I've seen, die cracks have not affected the grade. I have a couple MS65 quarters and ten cents from ICCS with die cracks. Not sure if a 66 and higher would be affected by die cracks.

how much does the PVC damage detract from the value?

That is not a die crack----wrong colour altogether---I have never seen one ever like that. It is not a toning line either----no such thing. So what you have is an unnatural mark of some kind caused by something softer than silver----could be anything ---PVC,plastic, glue, wax, paint. So this is environmental damage and it will be graded as such-----not a good investment because it will be hard to clean up without further damage.I would say damage like this brings down the value by 80%.A pity because it is such a beauty.

I had a another look at the photos in HD mode and can make out a clear sign of restoration attempts on the right mark. The right mark is broken into 2 sections--the central green section has been removed. The green is not oxidization---maybe acetone can remove all traces. Pretty risky purchase and you will have to re-certify.

Had another look at the grade --- MS 62/63 $2000 X 20% = $400 value---pretty sweet deal my friend, but I am not an expert with this series. The decision is yours.

lambecolin is probably right again..
That line does have some disturbances in it and as previously said , could be attempts at removing it. I see a few smudges along that line.
That is still a great 1892,.. and a fine addition to any collection.
If you're adding to a collection.... great..
If you're plan is to just flip it..then a bit risky..
Good luck with it...
