Well, I couldn't believe my eyes when I took in a 1964 90% Ag Kennedy 50 cents piece at McDonald's last week.

This happened only because I make it a regular habit of asking for $ 1 and $ 0.50 coins each time I ride my car at all of the drive-through lanes at fast food places I visit.

btw, I also wanted to show you a small but helpful aid I put together to hand to any cashier attendant at the window.

Sometimes, when I handed over the examples of coins that I wanted them to look for they would periodically lose track of what they were doing and misplace my coin(s).

Now, I think it is better to just hand them the coins you want in a convenient little array that is next to impossible to lose track of.

This is nothing more than four coins taped on a piece of cardboard: hard to lose and very easily recognized.

That looks more like 5 coins . I will trade you for my 4 coins I'm just playing but that's a good way to explain to them. I tend to stay away from explaining anything because a couple of the tellers started to hoard away the coins for themselves although they don't understand anything about varieties

Nothing like getting paid to eat!

It just goes to show ya that people are unaware of the treasures that slip through their fingers.

Good eye mdpmedia for catching the Kennedy.

Who ever said that dexterity in counting is a requirement for participation in CCF forums?

I'll definitely have to work on that issue a bit more closely.

Well, it is four ordinary coins and one most excellent coin.

Three guesses which one is most excellent and the first two guesses do not count.
