This has the "honor" of being the first large cent I ever acquired, 20 or so years ago, in a small shop in Springdale, Ark. I paid 3 weeks worth of allowance for it - $15.00.

Grade/opinions welcome. It's almost certainly been cleaned and retoned, but there's some original luster hiding out in places.

F details. Nice to still have the coin and the memories. Probably not original luster you are seeing, but copper color from the cleaning.

I don't usually get rid of coins, only keep them :P

Only things I've ever sold coin-wise were some duplicate Barber dimes and spare rolls of common v-nickels/mercury dimes, and a few rolls of wheats. (Not the "unsearched" type.)

Everything else stays here with me forever.
