Poll Question
I feel as if I am saving the park quarters for nothing
i already have a couple of full rolls of some parks while the other ones are quickly filling up. Should I save those quarters or just return them to the bank with my junk pile? What do you do with them?

(Just wondering what you all are doing with them)

Poll Choices
 Return them to the bank
Keep them, their value will appreciate
Keep them, they are great coins to trade
Keep them, they will be rare in the future
Only have one copy of each coin
Only keep certain mint marks or parks
Hold on to them for pocket change

I like hanging on to the ones I get as long as they are MS/high AU with nice luster. So long as I have the space and don't need the money, I think it's nice to keep some because they will probably get even harder to find in 100 years.

I hope
Or they will just change the metal of the coin all together.

I only keep the ones that are higher grade with nice eye appeal.

You don't have the option "collect them in in a nice album" with the kids. Because even though they only worth a quarter and will only ever be worth a quarter, the kids love them and get excited everytime a new one is found in pocket change and we fill another hole in the album

I keep all I come across in high grades, which has led to situations like having 2 rolls worth of Arches and Everglades. I figured I'd keep them to trade or sell in a couple of years.

As for the widely circulated ones I come across, I toss those in a fun money bin to use as poker change and whatnot.

I bought an album for the State Quarters and the national park quarters and filled (am filling) them from circulation rolls. I don't yet have all the national park slots filled, especially some of the D mints. I live in P mint country and it takes a while for the D mints to get here. I did encounter a couple of original rolls of 2015-P Homestead quarters that I stashed away. Dunno why. These quarters are not likely to carry any premium in anything less than MS67-68 for a looooong time, if ever.

I get a mint set and a proof set every years so I voted one copy of each coin. But I also pull selected ones out of circulation if they are really nice. I have been saving any Denalis that I find because they are scarce and I have a Great Smoky Mountains National Park one in my 7070 that my son gave me since that has been one of our favorite family vacation spots.

The 5th option is kind of the same.

They are just like the bicentennials. So many people hoard them that they will be readily available in high MS.

For some reason I keep several of each one.
It must be the OCD in me.

Keep one for your collection and turn the others loose for the rest of us poor circulation collectors.

As above. High grade specimens in folders or flips. I search for varieties too but that's it. They are fun to collect for the majority of newbies/noncollectors and for collectors as long as grades are high. With bazzillions in circulation it's hard to imagine even the higher grade coins becoming valuable. And with so many better retention/investment options I really don't see the point personally. With that said I don't want to discourage folks who enjoy saving them anyway. To each their own. Do what pleases you especially since it doesn't adversely affect others.

So, I spend the vast majority that come through my hands. Bicentennial quarters too.

I'm in line with most everyone else. I just keep one of each. I keep my eye open for upgrades to my album but then I dump the rest.
