What do you think? ya or na The reverse is really nice while the obverse has one nice deep scratch below his ear & a few scuff marks but for $4.76 I couldn't pass it up.Even though it has a little damage I always wanted to add a large type dollar error to my small humble collection

The Balkesly (or how ever you spell it) effect is strong with this one. Super nice clip.

Real deal! You can see the Blakesley on the reverse. The edges of the clip is exactly how it should look. Devices in that area also fading near the clipped area.

Genuine! I wouldn't worry to much about the condition. Being it's a dollar coin and a Bi-Centennial cancels out the condition,IMHO. Nice buy.

It shows everything you could possibly want to authenticate it as genuine. Blaksley Effect, Tapering of the lips of the clip, and weakness of letters close to the clip.

Jasper, I say "Ya" to Clip!

Or some may say Incomplete planchet. The tapering off along with the blakesley effect looks good. Thanks, Doug.
