Well this quarter I found in my pocket one day has a small oddity under the beak of the eagle(i have circled it for a better view):

Yes that one is marginally better but still very blurry and unidentifiable. We need crystal clear images and don't worry about circling it. Crystal clear is the focus here

cant get a better one ATM my good camera is charging I had to use my phone for that one

Stack books a few high and lay your phone on it with the camera aperture hanging off. This steadys the phone for a clear, crisp shot

If I do that the camera is too far away from the quarter to pick up the mark

Try a loupe or magnifier between the lens and the coin

Go post a help thread with this pic in the photography forum. They will make you good in short order nomatter the camera or phone you use

Even from those blurry pics, it looks like it took a hard hit and the metal was displaced.

well I cant get any good pics but it is completely separate from the beak so I doubt it would be a hard hit

The coin contact moved the material on the beak to a new location. Thus the appearance of doubling.
