1983 cent with a rotated reverse. its a bit more rotated than it looks because the starting position is rotated a bit the opposite way. it was flipped perfectly over (i had it in a 2x2 lined up against a piece of molding). is it worth anything? and do you think this coin would benefit from an acetone bath due to all the gunk or is it better to leave it alone?

Hard to tell how you rotated it. If you turn it like a page in a book does it look like that?

sorry I forgot to mention that... I flipped it vertically. so if it was a normal coin it would be straight

Ok, well in that case the rotation is not severe enough to be worth more than face.

Sometimes during a clash, the die may rotate a bit. I always figure over 45 degrees to make them collectable.

I've also sometimes noticed that when you put coins in 2x2's, and you flip them as perfect as you can vertically, they appear to be MAD's, but when you hold the coin it is not.

So I'm not sure completely here.

Looks like a slight CW rotation but not a keeper.

I think the mint allows for a 8 degree difference in rotation. Like someone said it has to be really significant to draw a higher premium.
