Do you guys think all the hype over these RP dollars will raise the popularity of the Presidential dollar series as a whole? If so, I may have underestimated the brilliance of those folks at the mint

I've already gone down this path and the overwhelming concensus with all available evidence is the mint had no clue, they dropped the ball plain and simple. No master plan

Mine's coming by SmartPost, so I guess that means I won't see it until September sometime.

Hello everyone! I'm new here and a total newbie when it comes to coins.
I was able to get the 2015 Coin & Chronicle set - Dwight D. Eisenhower.
My question is, if I want to sell it for profit, how much would I be getting approximately by NOT grading it? If I do get it grade, what would the selling price be (approx)?
Where should I go to sell it? only place I can think of is ebay and I googled a place called MCM?

Thanks... hope to make friends and learn few things here...

Getting it graded will only result in additional profit if it comes back perfect at pf-70 otherwise it will sell at nearly same price as raw. Check out the Truman set on ebay if you want a comparison.

Prices are trending at $225 to $260 right now. I expect this will go up slightly next week while people who have them in hand get a premium. Then it will drop slightly while those looking to move them quickly drop their prices. It will then rise again as supplies run out.

The Truman's were $150 pre release then jumped to about $175 when everyone got them in hand and now are over $200 and rising. I think long term value will be very high for both these sets

In hand coins are presently not for sale so there is no real market YET...give it a few weeks to see what the market says.

As far as grading I agree about the 69's BUT...that's not the goal. The goal is to get one of these:
