No email either but as I'm sitting in the break area of the WFoM I checked my order status, status shows as shipped.

Edit: Just got the email.

Finally shipped. Not in any big rush to get it, but it's a relief to see it change from processing to shipped. Especially since I just squeaked the order in at the last second. Here's hoping the ordering process for the Kennedy and Johnson sets will be problem free.

I predict mass chaos just like ike even with the higher mintage especially if they reduce it to 1 hh. Two was a joke. I'm thinking kennedy will have a 3 hh

I thought I heard the Kennedy will have a HHL of 2 just like the Ike set. Maybe I am just dreaming, can't remember where I read that.

The Kennedy limit is still at 2 sets. I don't think that will change. The mint also raised the mintage of the Johnson set to 25,000. As far as the problems yesterday, I don't see why the hh limit had anything to do with it. Whether the limit was 2 or 5, I doubt the number of customers trying to order at noon would have been any less. Same with the Kennedy and Johnson. Even with 50,000 of the Kennedy available, no matter what the hh limit is, I don't think it's going to lessen the number of customer orders at noon. If anything, the popularity of the Kennedy will increase the noon orders.

Coin World article dated 8/12...
"The edition size for the Truman, Eisenhower and Johnson sets were initially the same, at 17,000 units each. After the Truman set sold outt, the edition size for the Kennedy set was raised significantly, to 50,000, twice the initial intended offering of 25,000, and Jon Cameron, the Mint's acting associate director of sales and marketing, said Aug. 11 that the maximum release for the Johnson set is being raised to 25,000.

After the 15-minute sellout of the Truman set, Mint officials lowered the household limits from five for the Truman set to two for the Eisenhower set. A two-set limit was also announced for the Kennedy set."

For those planning to sell

Would it be better to sell two single sets ...or a sealed
box of two?

With the lower hh limit, those who desired to go around the limits in order to get the number they feel entitled to had to use more shill buyers.

GR, there will be a premium for a sealed box set. But I would wait a week or so and list it when the first graded 70s start popping up. People want to play the 70 lottery and will pay a premium for the sealed boxes they know haven't been picked over

Mine too. However, shipped doesn't really mean shipped. Sometimes they don't actually go out for a couple days.

my email said it went out on the 11 and I got my tracking #,it in transit on the road from Memphis now.
