This is a 1882 S Morgan I got out of a bank coin machine yesterday. Thought I would post it so you all can practice grading it. I think its an XF-40 Please give me your opinion.

SilverStacker, its post damage, you can see where the M is damaged where that line hits over the top of it. Here is the pic.

You gotta love free silver, especially when it's a Morgan dollar.

It's a details coin, and probably is going to get you the amount that dealers sell them at.

However, it's priceless IMHO. These only come once in a lifetime, unless you are a lucky son of a gun.

These machines I dump have a tray inside the door that dump the Ike dollars, and other coins plus trash and jewelry. When they open the door to reset the machine the manager lets me look inside and if there are any coins in there I like they let me purchase them at face value. They try to locate the owner of the jewelry that is found and if they can't locate them I am not sure what they do with the items. Been CRH for almost 3 years and this is the first time I got a Morgan. "LOVE THE HUNT!"
