Hey guys! I just ran across this one in an old coin jar. I don't know what the proper label for the error is and I could use some education. What type of error is this and is it worth anything?

Uh, I'm impressed :-)

30% OC approximately.
Looks cleaned but very, very scarce to find an off center IHC.
Congrats!
Send to ANACS would be my rec.

As mentioned, it's an off-center error. This is really a choice item as Indian Head cent collectors, error collectors, copper collectors and probably more folks would have an interest in a dated Indian Head off-center.

I don't know the value as I'm not an error specialist, by any means, but don't let this one go until an expert has weighed in. It's VERY NICE.

I found one similar to yours that sold on e-bay for a little over $150 (see here)

I would like to have one in my collection...maybe one day I will.
