Here we go!! Welcome to the "The 43 Days of Half Dimes!" How does this work? According to the schedule below we all post pictures of our Half Dimes, one/two or three year(s) of mintage per day from 1794 all the way to 1873!!    I can't wait to see all your Half Dimes! Awesome! Can't wait to see them as they come out. One of my favorite series of coins but alas, not one I have many of.. Hopefully this will inspire me..

This first example is a nifty black cabinet coin that I have. I've always wanted one to touch and hold and since I cannot afford the real thing. Oh well, sometimes we settle for curiosity sake.  This one is slightly more authentic and expensive yet so pretty that I needed to share her for those that have not had the pleasure.   |
