I think that's by far the 'most' valuable coin that I've seen in a SGS holder, lol.

Thought I'd share it. Looks AU details or UNC details to me, not good lighting at all.

SGS? That has got to be the only Trade dollar to grade MS70 in existence :)

It got sent to SGS because they would grade it no matter what.

What does SGS stand for? "Silly Grading Service"? I once bought a WTN that they graded as MS70, needless to say it obviously wasn't MS70 and I bust it out of the slab to put in a 2x2.

Looks to be genuine and lightly polished probably AU details. Net VF-20

Why did it get graded? Because it probably belonged to the owner of SGS. Allowed him to take his polished net VF trade and market it to someone who didn't know any better as a "bargain" MS PL coin.

I picked myself a 2004 S Keelboat nickel or whatever at a coinshow for a dollar like 5 years ago. I always thought it was legit, a SGS slabbed coin, until I found out that PR70 was a lie. They got it close though, it's definitely a proof 69.
