We need better photos zoomed in on the reverse and obverse. Based on it now the cheek looks very clean but once you upload better photos I'll be able to give a better idea.

Congrats on picking up that GSA CC Morgan dollar you have been thinking about. I know a dealer that pays $175 for those sight unseen, as in not likely as nice as yours. Again that is a dealer buy price, i.e. wholesale. The type of price regular guys don't walk in and see available for purchase. I think you did very good on price. Better pictures will allow us to offer grades.

Need super zoomed in photos to show full detail of the coin.....those photos aren't doing it yet....photo taking is a skill that takes practice

Looks like a beautiful coin, but the photos could be better...

It appears to be DMPL but the obverse field disturbances give me doubts about it being a MS64.

It looks promising from arms length. Post some close up shots if you want grade opinions.

I'll try some different takes, I'm a novice. I found this coin yesterday in a LCS, it was obviously a stunner the moment I saw it. The owner said $225 and then his son came over and saw it, I thought he was going to jack the price up. They both said PL and called it a ms 65. I'm going to have it graded, from my research, it might easily be an $800 coin.

I would grade it MS62/63 PL. The coin has some nice cameo like a DMPL.

I can say with almost 100% certainty it won't grade ms65, maybe 64 max....there is too much chatter on her face by her jaw and scattered marks all around the devices....then again these are photos from inside a holder which could throw the photo off....my final assessment ms63 dmpl or pl

Now that you have posted clearer pictures, I will say MS62PL.

Nice one but I can tell you with the amount of field scuffs even with the cleanest of cheeks it tops at 63 maybe, maaaaybe 64 but yes please crop your pics to just around the coin before uploading them still 225 was a no brainer

Still a tough call from your new photos but apparently PL if not DMPL and MS63ish. A really sharp Morgan for what you paid.

Face and obverse fields baggy . MS-63 or 64 DMPL.
