I just happen to come upon this tread and I am not a coin collector of any kind but that coin to have come out of a roll and to have been in circulation for some 120 plus years and to look that good. Is just amazing. Congratulations on the find.

Bodacious find! I haven't gotten one of those since my CRH Phase 1 days circa 1970. Unbelievable condition too. Congratulations.

That's awesome Titan~!! Congrats! My husband came home from work one night with the prettiest shiny 1945 Mercury dime I had ever seen from breaking a new roll of dimes into the cash register. He has a part time job at a jewelry store just to keep him busy a few hours a week since his retirement several years ago. I still treasure that dime On a side note....I bought a little group of 90% junk silver on ebay a couple of years ago and part of the lot was 22 polished V nickels. Since I had no use for those in my collection I spent them at McDonalds, Circle Ks, Winn Dixie, Wal-mart etc. over the next several weeks so someone else could find a really old coin in their change or cash register. it was fun. Also did that with some really dark Indian Head pennies I had once.
