I came across this AU/MS quarter in my pocket change yesterday. Upon closer inspection there appears to be some form of doubling on the obverse.
What do you guys think? Machine or hub doubling?

VERY good pictures. I would say Die Deterioration Doubling. Notice how it flows?

The image in the CPG is not showing much. But a side by side match of mint mark location might be more helpful. But all I'm seeing is a worn out die struck with slight Machine Doubling on this coin.

Thanks guys! Nevertheless, it's an interesting coin AND in great condition, so I've carded it up and filed it away.
