It is actually a scratch. I assume it will come back as UNC details.

Looks like wood. I'd send it in if it were mine for sure. As long as I'm right about the wood

If it's going to come back UNC Details it is not worth the submission.

Well, it'll be about a $200 coin in an Uncirculated Details slab. Does the cost of purchase plus slabbing leave you in a position to at least break even?

Personally, I'd take it to a major show and solicit opinions from a few knowledgeable dealers who can wisely respond to the question; this, given a close-up view. Barring that, I'd be hesitant to submit it for reasons of cost-effectiveness.
IMHO, this is a great album coin for a date set. Borderline-choice pieces like this can really help sell a set, full or partial, when the time comes to part with them.

You could just wait until ANACS has another free grading special for 2 coins, and see what they say about it. Will only cost you $21 for return shipping for 2 coins, plus postage to send it to them.

What is your reason for wanting to have it slabbed?

Gotta say that sure looks like a dis crack to me, but if you're certain it's not, then I agree that taking it to a show for opinions is the best next step.

I agree that a coin show is the first best option.

If you're OK with the fee, certainly worth getting slabbed

I bought it in a coin show for my son. I collect foreign coins while my 11 years old collect US coins. He wants to get it slabbed and that's why I am considering it.

IMHO, this is a great album coin for a date set. This! She would look very pretty with all her sisters around her!
