I found this 1965 set in my house yesterday and I noticed the the coins are murky is that from toning or did something get inside, and is the blue natural toning? They are in a broken Whitman case.

How did they look when you put them in that holder? You said the holder is broken,I am thinking moisture is getting trapped inside.I don't think toning is hazy.

Most of it is natural toning. which is nice.
But like John says the haze is probably from moisture getting in the case.

remember that this case is not mint issue, so these were most likely circulation coins put into the c ASE

I dont know how the coins looked from the start as I found the in my grandmothers jewelry box. My mom said it was a wedding gift or something.

I was thinking they could be low circulatcirculated but I dont see that much wear or fingerprints.

If the haze is from moisture should I try to remove if there is a way or not.

And is are any coin supply store in Vancouver to get a new case?

The coins look fine...so,..don't touch them and never try to clean them. (fist rule of coin collecting).

If you touch the coins..you immediately kill any future added value. The case also look fine.

If you want,..wrap the clear plastic cased coins is some protective outer slip to reduce the chance of marking the soft clear plastic.

Keep them in a low humidity area .."if at all possible".
