I recently purchase an 1829 Bust Half for my U.S. Type set. Upon further viewing of the coin I noticed some variations on the reverse. With a little research I found this variety listed in "U.S. Early Half Dollar Die Varieties 1794-1836" by Donald Parsley as 104a, obv. 2, rev. C-s2. This reference classifies this coin as a rarity 4. Unfortunately I have not found an indication of premium over the normal value for this year. The coin grades EF-40 with excellent eye appeal and good strike overall except for some weakness at the very middle of the obverse (in the hair below the ear). I would like to hear any feedback as to value associated with this variety. Thanks
