So while I was visiting my aunt she told me she had a few coins for me. They came in a cellophane bag. Here is a picture of the bag and a few of the coins inside.

speaking of the US coins, if the two Kennedy half dollars on the right are both 1964, those are 90% silver. I can't tell the date of the quarter in the back, but all the rest "silver looking" US coins appear to be only clad.

Yes,
that 64 is 80% silver.
The other3 in the lower left corner are nickel.
Nice to have a find like that given to you.

Thanks for confirming. My Canadian knowledge is limited and often conveys utter ignorance.

I notice a 1953 Bronze Medal of Canada's newly crowned Queen Elizabeth II, right upfront underneath a couple of pennies. This medal was apparently given to all Canadian school children.

Post a clear photo of the Winnipeg dollar. There are key varieties that many here go after..

We would want to see details in the left oval "0" in the large reverse center 100 very clearly if possible..

But I bet what he really meant was he was waiting to give his lifelong-saved keepsakes away only to someone that he hoped would treasure them as much as he......just like orfew's aunt:-)
