$6-7 in silver content. Don't know if it has any collectible value.

I have not seen anything like this on Google or ebay, though I did so a 1 oz Rotary convention token from the 90's listed on ebay for over $100.

It worth what someone is willing to pay, put it up on E-Bay what you think u want for it as buy now. If nothing happens lower the asking price and add make and offer

Thanks, Strach Man. That is what I plan to do. Maybe $50 to start.

Good morning Misterpostman,
I have this same token of the rotary convention in Lausanne 1973! My token has the number 2405. Could you tell me if you managed to sell yours? If yes, at which price ? I would like also to know if you found any official data about this token: Diameter, thickness, weight, and metal (silver 0.900?).
I googled a lot about this token and I found only your post on this forum. It is a pity that the rotary club did not make any web publishing about the tokens they made.
Thanks a lot for your reply.
Greetings from Geneva (Switzerland)

I still have it danim. I had it listed on ebay about 2 years ago, it did not sell. I think I was trying to get something like $50, not really knowing what it was worth, even after googling, looking for another on ebay etc. It did not sell, I don't think I got an offer either. It weighs 15 grams, mine is number 1580. .900 is on the token, in small print, to the right of the castle. Mintage is probably fairly low, but demand may not be that great either.. Melt value is about $7.50. Someone who likes it might pay $10, I don't think it would bring more than that.

Thank you for the reply... Misterpostman I didn't see that .900 was on the token! So now I have almost all the characteristics of the token. I will try to put it on the library of the http://www.numista.fr site. Regards Daniel

Thanks for the link, danim. If I understand the French correctly, the rarity is 97 out of a scale of 100.

Hi Misterpostman, The rarity depends of what the numista members declare to have on the site. Since nobody declare to have one coin the rarity will be 100. For this token I declared to have one... so the rarity went down to 97...
You can choose the language in English if you want.
Cheers
Daniel
