The large ones have been demonetized since the 90's.

I think we're only talking about £0.60 here.

They become far more interesting if you can obtain a 1992 large size sterling silver proof.

I have found it very hard to obtain the 1985 - 1992 Maklouf bust type version of these, even in cupro nickel, and even in collector mint pack form.

From what you have there, that's easy. The smaller 10 pences are current currency, the larger ones are bankable but not accepted in shops etc.

The only year that would be worth above face value in that condition is 1981. If you found an UNC 1981 10p it would be worth £10-15 despite what book prices suggest.
