Can't believe someone actually had the nerve to list this. So obvious that it's a Chinese counterfeit. Yet it still has bids. Go figure. http://cgi.ebay.com/201401735444Here's a pic in case it gets pulled

Since we can't use the name we should have a contest to see who can come up with the best name that we can use for the no-no site.

I don't exactly know why I love reporting a coin - right along with many others, and having the pleasure of seeing it die a timely death that same day.
It's good that the garbage doesn't make it to the secondary market, but I enjoy the nuke more than I should.
Or maybe not...

Might as well enjoy yourself while helping protect other collectors!

Quote: Home of the 40 thieves? Perhaps we should use the code phrase "The 40." Edit to add: When posting in threads like this, if the OP doesn't it will always be helpful for someone to chime in with a brief description of the coin's basic problems. And of course, pics if you can snag them from the auction. Part of what threads like this do in the bigger picture is create a searchable database of counterfeit sales, and this is our aim in keeping with our mission of being the best starting place in the hobby for a new collector. So any and all information which can be crammed into these threads is of benefit to numismatics into the future.

I think you're looking for the word "doozie".
