This is a 13-14th Century silver hand of god coin I got for my birthday. It was minted in the city of hall. I finally got around to scanning so this will be the first of hopefully many posts.
The top is whats left of the right hand of god and the 2nd pic is the top half of a cross. I didnt see any posts with one of these so what do ya think?
Since we're showing our ancient/mediaeval Hand of God coins, here's my favourite: Empire of Trebizond, silver asper of John Comnenus II, circa 1300 AD. I love the way that, to modern eyes, it appears that the Hand is giving the Emperor "the flick".
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
