Usually the surfaces, particularly in the fields, would appear "dull gray" rather than silver bright if it's been dipped too much. I don't see the parallel lines that are associated with a "scrubbed" coin. However, given that this is below Mint State, somewhere in the mid-AU range, it doesn't make a ton of difference one way or another. This is a common date and it would only gain any significant collector value if it were at least MS 63 or 64. Report this Post to the Staff
